It is with profound sadness we announce Jean Cameron of Vankleek Hill passed away suddenly at her home on Friday March 23,2018 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of 64 ¾ years to Keith Cameron. Loving mother of Jim (Monte), Heather Bates ( Ritchie), Rick (Karen) Kathy Bates (Lorne). Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Debbie. Special Grandma to Scott (Jenn), Colleen (Jerod), Mike (Elaine), Jennifer (Carlos), Chris and Mallory. Proud great grandmother of Rory Orb. Dear sister of Gordon Crawford. Predeceased by her sister Merilyn and her infant brother Junior. Dear sister-in-law of the late June and the late Calvin McAndrew, the late Lyall Cameron (Val), Glen Cameron (Erna), Stella Howes (Shirley), Ivy Bell (the late Frank) and Freda Schweinberg (Carl). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit at at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Wednesday March 28, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Spring Interment Cassburn Cemetery, L’Orignal, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation 237 Water Street East, Unit 1, Cornwall, Ontario K6H 1A2 would be appreciated by the family.
