Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Wednesday, October 11,2017 at the age of 92. Alexander was a gentle and kind man who resided and farmed in Vankleek Hill. He was the son of the Annie McCaskill and Roderick McRae (deceased), dear brother of Stanley (Gertrude deceased) and Murdie (deceased), and, fond cousin of Alexander McCaskill. Alexander was much loved by his nephews Robert, Terry, Ken, Brian and their families. He will be sorely missed. Friends may pay their respects at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 1 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at McLaughlin Cemetery.
