Peacefully on Saturday July 1, 2017 at St Joseph's Continuing Care Centre Cornwall, Ontario Alex MacDonell of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 70. Son of the late Hugh and Oswald (née Morris) MacDonell. Beloved husband of forty six years to Ann MacDonell (née MacLennan). Much loved Dad of Lori (Cary). Loving grandfather of Kortney Barton who was the pride and joy of his life. He leaves in sorrow his sister Claire (Wilfred Cadieux). Alex is predeceased by his brothers Archie, Garrett, and his sister Elva. Cherished brother-in-law of Bonnie MacKinnon (the late Allen) Heather Chapman (Rob) and Carol Seguin (Leonard). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and his cousins who meant so much to him. Dearly loved God Father of Ryan Seguin and Glendon Muir. A Mass of Christian Funeral will be celebrated on Wednesday July 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Saint-Martins-De-Tours Catholic Church 21947 Main Street, Glen Robertson, Ontario.
