Condoléances: Many condolences, just discovered his passing now. Although I never met or knew Phil, he became a very familiar sight to me in the early dawn mornings as I perused the Lachute fleamarket. Won't be the same when we head back to the fleamarket in the spring. God's speed.

Condoléances: Dear Samme - so sorry to hear of your loss. While I have chatted with you for years at the fiddlers group in Vankleek Hill or Maxville, I actually knew Phil earlier - from encountering him at various events and flea markets - from Lachute to Toronto. His truck was always filled with the most marvelous finds - as much as his head was filled with fantastic ideas - of which many came true. Would that we could all say as much! He will be missed.

Condoléances: We have fond memories of Phil and Samme and visiting the farm over the years.. I go back back 25 years to when the kids were young and ran around the farm, and as recently as this year enjoying a "Sarah" evening in Montreal. Your smiles and warmth were as natural as your lamb and chickens." And we were fortunate to attend one of those famous BBQ for neighbours and friends.

When Barry contacted me today I expected his usual .. "lambs and chickens are up - how many do you want?I
No more food calls, but the memories and some photos are forever.

All our love to you both..Phil, rest in peace
    Fondly Mark and Vania

Condoléances: We met Phil through his nephew Aubrey, our brother in law. We enjoyed our encounters with "Uncle Phil", and appreciated his unique sense of humour and his warm and welcoming attitude to everyone present on these occasions.

    Our condolences to his family.
