Nixon, Merilyn Margaret Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria on Wednesday February 24, 2016. Merilyn Nixon (née Crawford) of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 81. Predeceased by her parents Jesse Crawford and Doris Biederman. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Nixon. Loving mother of Gerry, Brenda (Dale) and Donna. Predeceased by her daughter Linda and son Kevin. Dearly loved grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Jean Cameron (Keith) and Gordon Crawford. Predeceased by her infant brother Junior. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends paid their respsects at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Tuesday March 1, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 1 pm in the funeral home.
