After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Adolfo Wyss passed peacefully away at his home with his family on March 31, 2014 at age 82. Dearly loved by his wife Margaret, daughters Anne (Jim), Jacqueline (Greg), Terry (Nick), Ellen, son Bill (Michelle), and grandchildren Ashley, Megan, Samantha, Jack, Charlotte, Linden, Rowan, Lilly, Venn and Valen. Adolfo will be sadly missed by his four sisters and his brother in Switzerland. Adolfo was born in Paraguay, grew up in Switzerland, then married Margaret and raised their five children and lived a long happy life in Canada. Adolfo was well respected in our community and made many friends. He will be greatly missed. Friends are invited to pay their respects at the Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Friday April 4, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. A Family Memorial will be held at a later date. In memoriam donations to Hawkesbury general Hospital Chemo Unit, 1111Ghislain Street Hawkesbury, Ontario K6A 3G5 would be appreciated by the family.
