NINA NEWTON

Nina Newton (nee McNaughton), age 97, passed away peacefully at the Prescott Russell Residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lochiel and lived all her life in the Vankleek Hill area.
Beloved wife of the late Russell Newton. Loving and caring mother of Sandra (Steve) Miners of Toronto, Jim (friend Lisa), Joyce (Ray) Bodnar all of Edmonton and Bev (Barbara) of Vankleek Hill.
Cherished and much loved grandmother of Charissa, Shelley, Rayne, Amber, Cody, Mitchell, Kaitlin and great-granddaughter Priscilla.
Dear sister of Della Forbes (Leslie) and Leslie McNaughton (Betty).Predeceased by her brothers John, Lloyd, Clifford, Elmer and her sister Viola.
Nina was a very special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by neighbours and friends.
Relatives and friends paid their respects at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Sunday May 6, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service was held on Monday May 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Breadalbane Baptist Church, Dalkeith followed by interment at Breadalbane Cemetery, Dalkeith.
The family would like to express its gratitude to the Residence’s staff for their excellent care and friendship for the past eight years.
