Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on January 26th, 2012 with his family by his side, at the age of 87. Pre-deceased by his first wife Pauline St. Jacques. Loving husband of Irene (nee Bourgeau). Adored father of Jeff (Anne),David(the late Jacinte), and Richard(Elaine). Cherished step-father of Gary Falkner and Judy (Tony)Kacin. Dearly loved grandfather of Chloé, Olivia, Shellie , Sarah, Todd, Joy, Ted, Mark and Lori. Great-grandfather of 11 great-grand children. Loved brother of Eileen(Colbert) Down and June(John) Schingh. Sadly missed by his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Friday February 3, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday February 4, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Funeral will be held on February 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m at St.Grégoire Catholic Church, 137 Higginson Street, Vankleek Hill. Spring Inurnment Notre-Dame Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario.
